Responsibilities
As a Pilot for Corporate with Hines, you will fly and maintain the Hines company aircraft. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist the aircraft Captain in all pre-flight, in-flight, and post flight functions, such as: pre-flight inspections, weather evaluation, planning and implementation of in-flight meal service, crew and passenger transportation, crew accommodations, loading of luggage and cargo, flying, post-flight inspections, aircraft cleaning, stocking, and security
Assist the aircraft Captain in all delegated tasks
Assist the Chief Pilot and/or the Assistant Chief Pilot in all aircraft maintenance functions
Supervise aircraft maintenance as directed by the Chief Pilot and/or the Assistant Chief Pilot
Post revisions to the Jeppesen, flight, and maintenance manuals
Maintain office including mail and aircraft stores
Complies with all written HILP, regional, and departmental company policies
Qualifications
Minimum requirements include:
High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
Aviation school as required for attaining necessary licenses
Five or more years of piloting aircraft with commensurate skills and experience; minimum of 3,000 hours total flight time preferred
Jet experience including a type jet rating in any type jet, and jet operational experience preferred
Exchange ideas, information, and opinions with others to formulate policies and programs and/or arrive jointly at decisions, conclusions, or solutions
Maintains calm demeanor in emergency situations
Applies principles to rational systems to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interprets a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form
Performs all flight duties to company standards and receives satisfactory scores in all training and evaluations
Possesses licenses and ratings as required by federal regulations permitting operation of Company owned aircraft (US ATP MEL). Falcon 50EX and or Falcon 900EX EASY type rating preferred
Performs all tasks relating to piloting and maintaining company aircraft
Ability to read, speak, and understand English
Operates all aircraft flight controls
Accesses all areas of the aircraft to perform maintenance
Listens and responds to radio transmissions and audio alarms
Sees and responds to visual warning alarms and annunciators
Loads luggage (single piece weight up to 72 pounds) into compartment with sill height between 48” above ground level and 60” above ground level
Climbs stairs to enter and leave aircraft; climb over center console (no step area) to enter and leave cockpit
Lift and remove over wing emergency exit window and exit through resulting opening approximately 40” by 30” (and assist passengers in same)
Possesses FAA medical certificate appropriate to operations (as required by federal regulations) * Indoors – 40% / Outdoors – 60%
