Job Description
The Challenger 300 Pilot in Command position is based out of Hawthorne, CA. This position requires a strong ability to multi-task, make high level complex decisions, all while completing a variety of aviation related tasks. The flying for this position will support the Advanced Air on-demand charter operations. The Pilot in Command (PIC) reports to Advanced Air’s Chief Pilot and in his absence the Director of Operations.
You are excited about aviation, looking to grow, and willing to make a one-year commitment to Advanced Air, LLC. You will also have all of the required flight minimums and certifications and live within two hours of your base airport.
What you will do:
Retains the final authority for the safe operation of the aircraft (FAR 91.3)
Maintains responsibility for the security of the aircraft during its operation
Ensures that the assigned aircraft is airworthy by completing a preflight inspection per the AFM and verifying that all required documents are on board the aircraft
Review all flight briefs regarding the purpose of the flight, weather, operating procedures, notes and any special instructions plans and flight assignments
Must comply with all Federal Aviation regulations, company operations manual, operations specifications, standard operating procedures, and company policies and procedures
Update flight and duty records determine eligibility for the next flight assignment and ensure any aircraft maintenance discrepancies are reported and in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures
Participate proactively in safety and quality systems by identifying, reporting and mitigating hazards and quality issues; providing timely input to management and applying systems processes to address quality and safety issues
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned by the leadership team
Requirements
High school diploma or GED
ATP Multi Required
CL300 PIC Type Rating
Digital dexterity for aircraft preflight and post flight
4,000 hours total time, 3,000 hours PIC, 3,000 hours multi-engine land, 1,500 hours multi-engine PIC, 2,000 hours turbine.
Ability to work in confined spaces and to manipulate, push, pull, and lift heavy objects in excess of 150 lbs
Ability to climb onto and off of an airplane wing as part of the preflight, post flight, or during an over wing emergency exit
Ability to execute flights of up to 4.5 hours up to a total flight time of 10 hours per day during a 14 hour duty period

What you can expect:
PIC Base Pay – $180,000.00 Depending on Experience
Flight crews can expect to average 30 flight hours a month.
Flight Crews average 15 flying days a month and 8 to 12 nights away from base as the schedule allows. The pilots schedule is bid 14 days in advanced and built on a mixture of Days ON and Days OFF that will generate 6 days off a month and 4 Flex Days Off. Days that are listed as “On” flight crews will be available to work for Advanced Air. Days that do not have assigned flying will have a set On Call period to them.
On Call periods will require flight crew to be within approximate two hours of the airport and in a fit to fly state.
Days OFF, the pilot will not be expected to be available for Advanced Air.
