Chief Flight Instructor at Eighth US Army Korea

As Lead Standardization Instructor Pilot for Eighth Army, Camp Humphreys Korea responsible for training and evaluating all assigned aviators, including Brigade, Battalion, and Company Instructor Pilots. Created Program of Instruction, syllabus, and obtained official Department of Training and Doctrine (DOTD) training material for Green Platoon program for all airframes in Republic of Korea including UH-60, AH-64, CH-47, Grey Eagle UAV. Provided classroom, simulator, and aircraft flight instruction in Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) of attack helicopter combat operations, Nap of the Earth (NOE) flight, Night Vision Goggle (NVG) operations, Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) operations, multi-ship/formation flight, instrument flight, emergency procedures, Korean airspace operations, and aerial gunnery procedures. Assisted in revising and editing Korean airspace aviation regulations. Selected by name to evaluate standardization procedures related to accident investigations of all airframes in Korea, including fixed wing intelligence gathering aircraft. Represented Eighth Army in aerial gunnery range coordination with Korean 5th Corps and Ministry of Defense.

AW139 IFR Captain/HAA Captain at Era Helicopters

As FAR Part 135 Captain led a team of diverse international pilots in the safe operation of the AW139 helicopter in on-demand operations over water in IFR and VFR conditions. Worked closely with partners and oil industry customers while transporting passengers to and from oil drilling platforms, production platforms, and sonar vessels. Responsible for the preflighting of aircraft, mission planning, weight and balance calculations, route planning and safe IFR operations. Selected by the Director of Operations and Chief Pilot to evaluate Lake Charles Flight Operations Center procedures and advised on improvements and strengths and weaknesses. Within one hitch of Gulf of Mexico IFR operations submitted a change to the checklist for AW139 operation which was immediately accepted and integrated as the company standard. Advised the Chief Pilot on training standardization, crew selection, and improvements to in-processing procedures. Performed as a Helicopter Air Ambulance Captain in Parimaribo, Suriname for oil exploration operations with American and Suriname partners. As one of the first crews selected to work in Suriname advised the Lead Pilot and Director of Operations to establish Standard Operating Procedures and travel/housing/training programs for company pilots.
